Terms of Service

1. Operator and acceptance

These Terms govern access to OncoRadar, operated solely by Celiums Solutions, LLC. Protected account and developer functionality requires affirmative acceptance of the current documents through the recorded signup or authenticated acceptance flow; merely viewing a public page is not recorded as consent. If you accept for an organization, you represent that you have authority to do so. These are operational draft terms pending legal review, not legal advice.

2. Research service; no medical use

OncoRadar helps discover, organize, retrieve and synthesize oncology research. It is not a clinical system, electronic health record, diagnostic tool, treatment recommendation service, or substitute for a qualified healthcare professional. Do not use outputs for emergency, diagnostic, treatment, dosing, eligibility, or other patient-care decisions.

• Do not submit protected health information (PHI), patient records, direct identifiers, or data intended for individual clinical care.
• Verify source literature, citations, dates, licensing and generated statements independently before relying on them.

3. Accounts and organizations

You must provide accurate account information, protect credentials, and promptly report suspected compromise. An organization controls its workspace according to assigned roles. Organization administrators may manage memberships, content and access. You are responsible for activity under your account and API credentials unless promptly reported as unauthorized.

• One person may not impersonate another or misrepresent authority.
• You may export available account data and request account deletion through the privacy center.
• Deletion is a pending workflow, not immediate erasure; organization data may remain where another member or legal obligation requires it.

4. Literature, user content and licenses

Research metadata, abstracts, excerpts and linked publications remain subject to their source terms, copyright and database rights. Access through OncoRadar does not grant rights beyond the applicable source license.

You retain rights in content you submit. You grant OncoRadar a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, process, transform and display that content only as needed to provide, secure and improve the service and meet legal obligations. You represent that you have the necessary rights and that the content complies with the Acceptable Use Policy.

5. API, MCP, AI outputs and quotas

API and remote MCP access are subject to credential scopes, technical documentation, rate limits and quotas. Do not share secrets or bypass limits. Generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, non-unique or unsupported by cited sources. You are responsible for human review and permitted downstream use.

The current implementation can use Qwen for embeddings, Hyphae open-source data-plane technology for indexing and retrieval, and Gemma through Amazon Bedrock Mantle for synthesis. Technology attribution does not transfer responsibility for operating OncoRadar away from Celiums Solutions, LLC.

6. Availability, changes and suspension

The service may change, be interrupted, or contain errors. We may limit, suspend or terminate access to protect users or systems, enforce these Terms or quotas, respond to legal requirements, prevent abuse, or discontinue a feature. Where practicable, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to export available data, but urgent security or legal action may occur without advance notice.

7. Future paid services

Current or future features may require a paid plan. Pricing, taxes, renewals, refunds and cancellation terms must be presented before a charge. The Subscription Terms apply when paid plans launch. Concrete governing-law, venue and arbitration provisions are intentionally not stated and remain pending legal review before paid launch.

8. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, clinically appropriate or fit for a particular purpose. Liability limitations and mandatory consumer rights vary by location; a legally reviewed limitation structure remains pending. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Contact and updates

Questions may be sent to legal@oncoradar.org. Material updates will receive a new version or effective date and, where appropriate, require renewed acceptance. No governing law, venue, mailing address or arbitration forum should be inferred from this draft.
